Saw Kid Dakota tonight at The Nomad. Good show. They rock. Good shit.
I need to get out more. It’s a lot of fun to see a good band in a small place, and Minneapolis is perfect for that. I mean, I moved to a town where there’s good live music all the time, and I rarely get out to see it.
Anyway.
I keep coming back to …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead. Seriously. They are a really good band. If you can find it, check out Richter Scale Madness. I am convinced that these guys are Sonic Youth fans. Just from listening to their music. I don’t really know anything about the band. That said, I saw them on tour for their most recent album, which is much different. Still very good.
Goddamn it. It’s times like this that I was worth a shit on the guitar and could play in a band. I mean seriously. This is all I’ve got.
